În perioada 27-29.10.2022, reprezentantul Asociației Ofițerilor în Rezervă din România (AORR), col. (r) dr. Crăișor-Constantin IONIȚĂ, a participat online la lucrările hibride ale primei Conferințe de pregătire (In-Between-Meetings/IBM1) a Congresului de Iarnă al Confederației Interaliate a Ofițerilor în Rezervă (CIOR), organizată de noua Echipă prezidențială estoniană a CIOR și desfășurată atât fizic în Helsinki Congress Paasitorni, Finalanda, cât și în mediul virtual, prin platforma Microsoft Teams.

Scopul principal al IBM1 l-a reprezentat pregătirea lucrărilor Congresului de Iarnă al CIOR 2023 (MWM 23) și a principalelor activități de anul viitor, precum și informarea asociațiilor membre despre unele aspecte operaționale. Alte obiective au constat în: discutarea bugetului CIOR pentru 2022-2023 și a cererilor de finanțare ale comitetelor constitutive, aspecte legate de traducerea noii Constituții a CIOR în limba franceză, cerută de legea belgiană și managementul organizației.

În urma rapoartelor făcute de reprezentanții comitetelor și a discuțiilor purtate, AORR a fost lăudată pentru efortul deosebit făcut în organizarea Seminarului pentru tinerii ofițeri în rezervă (YROC) din perioada 22-25.06,2022 la Pitești, precum și pentru participarea activă a reprezentantului nostru la STRATCOM și, pentru prima oară, a participării cu două echipe MILCOMP la Congresul de Vară al CIOR din perioada 31.07-06.08.2022 de la Atena, în Grecia.

During the period 27-29.10.2022, the representative of the Association of Reserve Officers from Romania (AORR), col. (r) dr. Crăișor-Constantin IONIȚĂ, participated online in the hybrid works of the first In-Between-Meetings (IBM1) of the Mid-Winter Meeting (MWM) of the Inter-allied Confederation of Reserve Officers (CIOR). It was well-organised by the new Presidential Team Estonian branch of CIOR and held both physically in Helsinki Congress Paasitorni, Finalanda, and in the virtual environment, through the Microsoft Teams platform.

The main purpose of IBM1 was to prepare the works of the MWM 2023 (MWM 23) and the main activities of next year, as well as to inform the member Associations about some operational aspects. Other objectives consisted in: discussing the CIOR budget for 2022-2023 and the funding requests of the constituent Committees, aspects related to the translation of the new CIOR Constitution and By-Laws into French, required by the Belgian jurisdiction, and the management of the organisation.

Following the reports made by the representatives of the Committees and the discussions held, AORR was praised for the special effort made in organising the Young Reserve Officers Seminar (YROC) from 22-25.06,2022 in Pitesti, as well as for the active participation of our representative at STRATCOM and, for the first time, the participation with two MILCOMP teams at the CIOR Summer Congress from 31.07-06.08.2022 in Athens, Greece.
